Cost to climb at the wall is billed on a per hour basis. We charge $25 for the first hour of climbing; each subsequent hour is $15/hour.
A Liability Release Form must be filled out by each participant prior to climbing at the wall. This form requires the signature of a parent/guardian if the participant is under the age of eighteen (18.) The liability release form can be found here: Ridge Roamers Liability Release Form

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the hectic schedules of our volunteer Certification Officers, we require that all requests be submitted a minimum of two (2) weeks prior to the desired climbing date. This allows us to discuss your request with the Certification Officers who will be helping to facilitate your request, as well as to finalize dates.
While climbing at the Wall, there may only be four (4)-harnessed climbers actually climbing at any one time. This is due to the fact that there are only four (4) top-ropes available. This should be considered while assessing the number of participants to climb in the allotted timeframe.
It may also be noted that Ridge Roamers specifies no limit as to how many individuals may participate at the wall. However, it is the responsibility of the organization leader to control the number of individuals in the SDC at that time.
Wednesday and Thursday nights from 7:00pm-9:00pm are not available for group reservations. This is due to the fact that weekly club climbing nights are held at these times.
The dates on which the Ridge Roamers can host groups depends greatly on the availability of our Certification Officers, as they are all MTU students with busy schedules. Keep in mind that our staff are volunteering their time to help with your group, so please be as patient as possible. We do our best to host all the groups that would like to climb at the wall.
